The Wayne State University (WSU) Police Department patrols both the main and medical campuses as well as the surrounding neighborhoods.  Additionally, the Department offers other services to keep students, faculty, and staff safe including self-defense classes, VIN etching, safety and crime prevention tips, and emergency (blue light) phones across campus.
